CIMG1888-pngDe zwangere Nikkie Plessen presenteerde vanochtend voor een live publiek de lancering van de Oei, ik groei!-kalender op de Negenmaandenbeurs in de Amsterdam RAI. Hiermee gaf ze het officiële startsein voor de digitale zwangerschapskalender, een nieuw initiatief van Oei, ik groei! en Flogs.com. Met de Oei, ik groei!- kalender zijn zwangere vrouwen en jonge ouders altijd en overal op de hoogte van de ontwikkeling van hun baby, van voor de geboorte tot in de peuterleeftijd. Daarnaast presenteerde Nikkie een onderzoek dat door  Flogs.com onder 1500 Nederlandse vrouwen is uitgevoerd.

Met het invoeren van de uitgerekende datum maak je met Flogs automatisch een persoonlijke Oei, ik groei!-kalender aan. Met een paar eenvoudige handelingen kunnen de zwangere vrouwen de Oei, ik groei!-kalender toevoegen aan een digitale agenda naar keuze. (more…)

Real Madrid fans will have the possibility to download the date and time of each of the games in their own digital calendar like Outlook, Google  Calendar, Apple ICal, BlackBerry, Windows Vista Calendar and Facebook, among others.

The schedules of all associated teams (the first football team, youth teams and the basketball teams will be available from now on. In the Spanish competition it is not uncommon that starting times are released just days prior to the event. Dutch Flogs.com releases iPhone and Facebook app

Flogs.com, a Dutch internet start-up, releases today an iPhone and Facebook app for its digital calendar service.

With the release of these two apps Flogs now offers a complete set of synchronization tools for a wide range of popular platforms. Both applications are free of charge and already available in the app stores of both Apple and Facebook. Flogs already offers synchronization plug-ins for popular platforms such as Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar, iCal (Mac OSX) and Windows Live.

CEO Toon Timmermans: “Both iPhone and Facebook have a strong international growth. Therefore the release of both apps is an important step for us. In future releases we will focus more on social media and mobile apps such as MySpace,  Netlog and Android. Dutch Start-up flogs.com raises $ 3 million
October 6th, 2009, Amsterdam: flogs.com a new Dutch internet start-up, has raised a nearly $ 3 million (€ 2 million) round of funding from private investors and the Dutch Government. Flogs is specialized in sharing and synchronizing a large range of event calendars across most major platforms. The Dutch Government expressed that they support the innovative idea behind the service that Flogs offers.
CEO Toon Timmermans: “The fact that we have received this funding in these economic times is an ambassador for our product. With this new round we are ready to expand our business worldwide. At the end of this year we will open our new office in New York. It is a big step for Flogs that we can now hire top performers to take a professional and experienced approach to our sales, engineering and marketing department.
This funding enabled Flogs to hire two top performers in the online industry. Ralph Manheim, a former IMG Media executive with vast experience in the world of Football, will start as the commercial director for Flogs International. Martijn van Egmond, former Google, will take the roll of Marketing & Communication manager.
Besides hiring top performers, the use of proceeds will further speed-up technical development and expand international sales and marketing activities.

Team Endorses High-Tech Offerings of Flogs.com

Indianapolis, Indiana (September 23, 2009) – HVM Racing is now a fan of Flogs.  The team has announced a partnership with Flogs.com, a site that provides free digital calendars of sporting events, concerts, CD releases and other events that can be synchronized to a user’s own personal calendar application.  Users visit Flogs.com to choose which schedules to download to their PC, Mac, Smartphone or other device and then integrate them with Outlook, Windows Live, Gmail calendar or other applications.

Brand new internet start-up Flogs.com just signed a sponsoring agreement with IndyCar Series race team Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing and race driver Robert Doornbos. Flogs.com offers the largest range of digital calendars. The company was founded in 2008. In order to grow in the enormous American market Flogs.com has chosen the IndyCar Series and Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing as carrier for their first campaign.
