Samenwerking digitale kalenderdienst Flogs en Oei, ik groei!

Amsterdam – 17 februari 2010: De zwangere Nikkie Plessen presenteerde vanochtend voor een live publiek de lancering van de Oei, ik groei!-kalender op de Negenmaandenbeurs in de Amsterdam RAI. Hiermee gaf ze het officiële startsein voor de digitale zwangerschapskalender, een nieuw initiatief van Oei, ik groei! en Flogs.com. Met de Oei, ik groei!- kalender zijn zwangere vrouwen en jonge ouders altijd en overal op de hoogte van de ontwikkeling van hun baby, van voor de geboorte tot in de peuterleeftijd. Daarnaast presenteerde Nikkie een onderzoek dat door  Flogs.com onder 1500 Nederlandse vrouwen is uitgevoerd.

Met het invoeren van de uitgerekende datum maak je met Flogs automatisch een persoonlijke Oei, ik groei!-kalender aan. Met een paar eenvoudige handelingen kunnen de zwangere vrouwen de Oei, ik groei!-kalender toevoegen aan een digitale agenda naar keuze.

De Oei, ik groei!-kalender geeft iedere week antwoord op de vragen die op dat moment relevant zijn en bevat talloze handige tips. Hoe groot is de baby nu? Wanneer kun je de eerste schopjes voelen? Vrouwen met de Oei, ik groei!-kalender weten het precies. Na de geboorte van de baby gaat de kalender door met nuttige feiten en handige tips over de eerste jaren van het kind. Zo wordt aangegeven wanneer bepaalde mentale ontwikkelingen beginnen of bijvoorbeeld wanneer je de eerste tandjes kunt verwachten.

Today Eurosport and Flogs.com are announcing a new partnership to keep sports fans all over Europe up-to-date about the latest broadcasts of the 2010 Winter Olympics on Eurosport. As of today, the complete Olympic broadcasting schedule of Eurosport en Eurosport HD is available on Flogs’ digital calendar service. Besides the broadcast schedule, you can add your favorite team, athlete or sports discipline to a digital calendar of your choice and you won’t miss any of your favorite moments of the Winter Olympics!

All fifteen sports disciplines of the 2010 Winter Olympics will be broadcasted 24 hours a day by Eurosport from 12 to 28 February. The partnership between Flogs and Eurosport will initially take place in the United Kingdom, France, The Netherlands, Sweden and Poland.

Real Madrid offers fans digital calendar service
November 5th, 2009, Amsterdam: Our fans will never miss the date of any of our games again. Since today, and thanks to our partnership with the Dutch company Flogs International www.flogs.com, our fans will have the possibility to download the date and time of each of our games in their own digital calendar like Outlook, Google  Calendar, Apple ICal, BlackBerry, Windows Vista Calendar and Facebook, among others.

The schedules of all associated teams (the first football team, youth teams and the basketball teams will be available from now on. In the Spanish competition it is not uncommon that starting times are released just days prior to the event. However the automatic update function of this new service Flogs offers ensures that fans will know exactly, what time their favorite team is playing.

This calendar application is fully integrated in www.realmadrid.com. Fans just have to click on the Real Madrid Flogs icon (A small red F symbol) and a special page will be displayed. The icon is located in each of our articles and in the competition calendars of the football and basketball teams.

Flogs.com, a Dutch internet start-up, releases today an iPhone and Facebook app for its digital calendar service.

With the release of these two apps Flogs now offers a complete set of synchronization tools for a wide range of popular platforms. Both applications are free of charge and already available in the app stores of both Apple and Facebook. Flogs already offers synchronization plug-ins for popular platforms such as Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar, iCal (Mac OSX) and Windows Live.

CEO Toon Timmermans: “Both iPhone and Facebook have a strong international growth. Therefore the release of both apps is an important step for us. In future releases we will focus more on social media and mobile apps such as MySpace,  Netlog and Android. In the Netherlands we expect to release an app for Hyves, the leading Dutch social media platform, within the next few weeks”.

The iPhone app features a unique function that users can use GPS to browse for local events. A map will conveniently show the exact location of the event. Users will also be able to browse events by date or by location and add those events to their own digital calendar.

With the release a the Facebook app users are now able to use Flogs for the first time within a popular Social Media platform. Facebook members can show their favorite calendars by adding the Flogs Facebook app to their personal profile. Facebook members can also share their events with their friends or add their Facebook friends’ events to their own profile or digital calendar.

Team Endorses High-Tech Offerings of Flogs.com

Indianapolis, Indiana (September 23, 2009) – HVM Racing is now a fan of Flogs.  The team has announced a partnership with Flogs.com, a site that provides free digital calendars of sporting events, concerts, CD releases and other events that can be synchronized to a user’s own personal calendar application.  Users visit Flogs.com to choose which schedules to download to their PC, Mac, Smartphone or other device and then integrate them with Outlook, Windows Live, Gmail calendar or other applications.

Flogs.com has been a personal sponsor of HVM Racing driver Robert Doornbos throughout the 2009 IndyCar Series season and will now also partner with the team.
